WORTHING B FESTIVAL - SUNDAY 18th MARCH 2007

As mentioned the Tigers are entering in the Worthing B Festival this Sunday (18th March) and the squad is as follows:

Charlie Gibbs
Cameron Gilmore
Steven Weatherley
Kieran Highman
Noel McCleavy
Joe Blake
Michael Anon-Calvo
Harry Bullamore
Alex Ward
Ellis Racey
Charlie Slater
Ciaran Fergusson
Billy Mullen
Josh Preston
Craig Stocker
Oliver Prudence
Matthew Kent
Connor Dumbrill

PLEASE PLEASE can you confirm by return mail to Ian Weatherley (who is copied on this mail) by no later than Thursday 15th so that we can be sure that we have enough players to enter into the tournament.   If you cannot make this, please say so as it would be unfair on all the others players and Ian/Clive to turn up and then find out that there are not enough players to take part in the competition after travelling all the way there.

This is a well organised festival as a lot of you already know and the Tigers have a great chance of winning some silverware based on their recent performances.   I wish you all every success and apologise that I cannot be there, but thankfully you will be in Ians' capable hands as well as Clives'
as long as he can obtain a lift from someone.   If you can offer Clive a lift please let him know direct.

Registrations will be at 9.30am so please arrive by then.   Directions can be found on the URFC website where the squad will also be repeated.
Those not playing in this festival will automatically play in the Upminster festival on 24th March where everyone plays.

Also, wherever possible please make an attempt to car share?
With the recent poor weather, the field used for additional car parking is still
very soft and its use may be in doubt before the B Festival. Subsequently
Worthing RFC will only have hard parking for circa 250-270 cars. Once they have used these
spaces, the grounds will be closed to cars and drivers will have to park in the
local village and walk in to the club.
Note Parking will not be allowed in Roundstone Lane (Road that the Rugby Club is
on) and we have been advised that offending vehicles will be towed.

Please observe the marshals instructions. If you have the playing kit and
need to be near to the pitch to drop it off, please let the marshals know, but
make every attempt to arrive as early as possible. If you leave it too late the
grounds might well be closed to cars.

Please note there will be no training this Saturday for the Tigers as you will have a long day on Sunday.
