Match Report Upminster Sharks
Game 1 v Saffron Walden B won 25 tries – 15
Good opening game 3 tries for Harry Phypers. 1 For Henry Attridge, 1 for Maria Sadek. Excellent defensive work from whole team
Game 2 v Upper Clapton B Drew 20 – 20
Another good game showing excellent attacking skills. From the whole team Tries for Guy Binder, Tarkan Canova (2) and another for Phypers. Excellent defence from Mathew Murphy, and David brooks secured a draw.
Game 3 v Saffron Walden A Lost 5 – 15
Tough, hard fought game unlucky not to win. Excellent try from Harry Phypers put us in the lead, and some excellent defensive work from Alfie George and Torrin Nicholls, could not stop the eventual finalists. Although a diving tag from Harry Phypers stopped a certain try.
Game 4 v Wanstead Lost 15 – 40
Following a long hot day several sets of very tired legs took to the pitch for the final game, with some excellent defensive work from the whole team and tries from Adam Birkett, David Brooks and Henry Attridge. However Wanstead scored 5 unanswered tries mid way through the first half putting the game out of reach, however the team would not give up in the second half and battled all the way to the final whistle.

Match Report Upminster Cheetahs
Game 1 v Upper Clapton A lost 0 tries – 35
This was a hard and fast paced game against a well drilled and team who went on to become finalist. Although up against it Jamie Ramsey, Oscar Warrington and Max Pinner did not stop in defence.
Game 2 v Wansted draw 25 – 25
A great game that showed tremendous team spirit and good pacing at speed. Rian Horsman lead the way with a tremendous solo try followed by a try from Ethan Richardson. All level at Half time.
Great team work in the second half saw tries from Luke Bullamore, Thomas Young and another by Ethan. Wanstead worked hard resulting in a draw.
Game 3 v Saffron Waldon won 25 – 20
Now working as a unit against a scratch team, there was no stopping them. The damage was all done in the first half with Ethan Richardson get 4 tries, two of them being complete solo effort and two following up good work from Holly Fleck and Adam Ford. SW came back in to the frame in the second half , but another try by Ethan sealed the game.

Rian Horsman, Jamie Ramsey, Holly Fleck, Adam Ford, Luke Bullamore, Zack Outen, Max Pinner, Oscar Warriner, Thomas Young, Ethan Richardson.
Both team continue to progress well and all looks good for next year when they play in their own age group.
Upminster Tigers Festival 25/03/07
Upminster under 6’s starter their rugby careers with a baptism of fire by entering the Under 7’s Tigers festival. Entering two teams of equal ability the team were up against some very strong and skilled players. Not phased by this, both teams can hold their heads up high as the battled on.
Upminster Cheetahs
Although they did not secure victory the “Upminster Cheetahs” pushed each of its opponents and made everyone of them earn their victories. Top try scorer Adam Burkett (5) put on a tremendous performance as did Henry Attridge (1), David Brooks (1) and Zack Outen (1). Good defencive work from Mathew Murphy, Torin Nicholls and Thomas Young.

Upminster Sharks
Sharks made a promising start however they were unable to prevent their opponents scoring. In each game they supported each other well and created chances with Harry Phypers and Maria Sadek leading the way. In Defence Guy Binder, Alfie George and Harry Phypers were outstanding. Special thanks to Ryan Pinkney for stepping in when bother Luke was taken poorly. Try’s came from Luke Bullamore, Alfie George, Maria Sedek and Ryan Pinkney.
