Welcome to the team page for the Under 8's
( Players D.O.B. between Sep 1999 and Aug 2000)
We have over 30 children playing in this age group, coached by 5 coaches.
We aim to create a happy, fun and safe enviroment for the children and parents.
We hope by playing and training together, we can encourages the children to improve their rugby skills,
have respect for other players and coaches, and build good team work.
New players welcome, just turn up and ask for Under 8's, Sunday morning 10:30.

Upminster Festival - 14th October
Upminster had 2 teams in the Festival, both teams tried really hard, and played some very good rugby.
The Lions came away with 1 win, 1 draw and 2 loses.
The Tigers has some very strong opponents, and had 4 close defeats, but produced some good tries and defence play.
Well done everyone who took part.
A very big thanks to all the helpers on the day. You all made it a brilliant day for the kids.

Medway Festival 7th October
Upminster travelled to Medway to defend this Trophy.
They won 4 games to get to the final, drawing with Ashford 20-20 in the final to bring the trophy
away on a toss of a coin.
Well done.
Chobham Festival 30th September
Upminster finished 3rd in a very close contest, winning 3 games and only just losing the other 2
